CASE DISMISSED

Our client was charged with Theft between $1,000 and $5,000-- a felony that could land them up to 5 years in prison or up to a $3,000 fine, or both!

After combing through the prosecutor's discovery and conducting an independent investigation, we were able to determine that the person shown in the surveillance footage was NOT our client! Ultimately, the case was dismissed.

RECORD EXPUNGED

In 2022, our client our client pled no contest to Simple Criminal Damage under $1,000 and was sentenced to pay a $50.00 fine. or 30 days in parish jail - leaving him with a misdemeanor conviction on his record.

After being denied employment because of his record, our client came to office seeking an expungement. Our office has filed all of the necessary paperwork and now, his record is expunged!

SHARED CUSTODY WITHOUT GOING TO COURT

Through mediation we were able assist both parties in creating a fair shared custody arrangement while avoiding court costs and attorney's fees.

REDUCED SENTENCE FROM 20 YEARS TO 3 MOTNHS & REDUCED CHARGE

Our client was charged with a Felony Theft over $25,000 in 2022 – facing up to 20years and a 50,000 fine. Shortly after being charged by the Calcasieu District Attorney's Office, they served 4.5 years in Texas on unrelated charges and was extradited to the Calcasieu Correctional Center on December 9, 2025. On January 28, 2026, they were able to post a $30,000 bond and be released.
